01. About these terms

Keyshift is owned and operated by SR Ecommerce ("we", "us"). These terms apply to the game, the Discord Activity, and keyshiftgame.com. By using Keyshift, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. Keyshift is an independent game and is not operated or endorsed by Discord. Your use of Discord is also subject to Discord's terms and rules.

02. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required by Discord or the laws that apply to you. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms on your own, you need your parent or guardian's permission and agreement where required.

Online races and saved progress require a valid Discord account. Your coins, unlocks, and desk layout are attached to your Discord user ID. Protect your account and do not use another person's account without permission. Tell us if you believe your Keyshift account has been misused. We will not ask for your Discord password or authentication codes.

03. Playing fairly

Use Keyshift for lawful, personal gameplay and treat other players respectfully. You must not:

• Use bots, typing automation, scripts, pasted text, modified clients, or exploits to gain an unfair advantage or generate rewards.
• Tamper with race results, coin balances, purchases, accounts, or access controls.
• Harass others, impersonate another person, or use the service to share unlawful or harmful material.
• Disrupt the service, overload its systems, or access accounts or data you are not authorized to access.

If you find a bug or security issue, report it to support without exploiting it or collecting other players' data. Race results are calculated by the server. Contact us if a result or reward appears incorrect.

04. Coins and your collection

New accounts begin with the default keyboard and desk setup and 0 coins. Under the current rules, a completed win earns 50 coins. Other finishes, incomplete races, and forfeits earn no coins. Rewards are subject to valid server-recorded results.

Coins are game points. There are currently no real-money purchases. Coins and virtual items cannot be sold, transferred between accounts, exchanged for money, or redeemed outside Keyshift. Unlocking an item lets you use it in the game; it does not give you ownership of the underlying artwork or software.

Returning an item from your desk to your inventory keeps it unlocked. We may correct rewards or balances caused by a bug or cheating and explain the correction on request. If we change the earning rules, the updated rules will apply to future races. If paid features are introduced later, their price and applicable terms will be shown separately before any purchase.

05. Game content

SR Ecommerce and its licensors retain rights in Keyshift's software, branding, artwork, audio, and other game content. We give you permission to access and play the game for personal, non-commercial use while you follow these terms. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses and credits.

You may share ordinary gameplay screenshots and recordings, provided you respect other people's privacy and rights and do not imply official endorsement. These terms do not restrict uses permitted by law or by an applicable open-source license.

06. Changes and availability

We work to keep Keyshift available, but updates, maintenance, provider outages, and connection problems can interrupt play. An interrupted race may end without rewards. Keep this in mind when joining a live match.

We may make reasonable changes to improve gameplay, security, accessibility, or compatibility. We will give reasonable notice of a material reduction or closure where practicable and honor any notice or remedy required by law. We do not promise that every feature or virtual item will remain available forever.

07. Ending or restricting access

You may stop using Keyshift at any time. To request deletion of your saved profile, follow the contact steps in our privacy policy.

We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a serious or repeated breach of these terms, cheating, a security threat, or a legal requirement. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to respond. Urgent protective action may happen first. You can ask us to review a restriction by contacting support.

08. Responsibility and your rights

We will provide the service with the care required by applicable law. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free play or compatibility with every device. You remain responsible for your own internet connection and for using the game in a way that respects these terms and others' rights.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable. Nothing removes your mandatory consumer or data protection rights, legal remedies, or right to bring a claim before a court entitled to hear it under applicable law.

If something goes wrong, contact us so we can try to resolve it. You are not required to give up any statutory complaint or court procedure to do so. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

09. Changes to these terms and contact

We may update these terms when the game or relevant requirements change. The current version and effective date will be posted here. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where required and seek new agreement when legally necessary. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights you have already acquired. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using the game and request deletion of your profile.
